Need to Know, LLC (“Need To Know”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. Need To Know provides an mobile application (the “App”) that simplifies communication between users so that all members of a discrete network can be routinely notified of the condition of a party or parties in which all members have an interest. The App enables automated messaging that repeats on the schedule chosen by the administrator, where all network members can see the questions and the one-tap positive or negative responses. The App allows family members to quickly and easily check on the safety, security, and well-being of loved ones without being intrusive. The app can also allow friends or coworkers to schedule recurring messages to confirm members’ participation in upcoming group activities or work. We have prepared this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to describe our practices regarding the personal information we collect from users of our App and of visitors our website located at getneedtoknow.com (the “Site”), and the services offered through the App and Site, including any orders that you may place (collectively, the “Services”).

Information Collected
Information You Provide to Us.
If you sign up for an account for our Services (an “Account”), we will collect all the information you provide when establishing your account, including information use to confirm your account eligibility. We, and other service providers who support operation of the application or the website may collect a variety of information from you, including your name, mailing address, email address, birthdate, zip code, credit card, and bank account information to register with us. In creating an Account, we may ask you to create a password. In addition, we may collect information regarding your communications using our Services such as back-ups of information, time and content of communications, and other activity when you interact with our Services. We do not process, record or maintain your credit card or bank account information. When you post content (text, images, photographs, videos, messages, comments or any other kind of content) on our Services, the information contained in your posting will be stored on our servers and other users of the Services will be able to see it if you post it in an area made public, such as comments on our blogs or other social media platforms.
We retain information on your behalf, such as messages you send (including the content of the message and the recipient data) using your Account.
If you participate in one of our surveys, we may collect additional information as provided during the survey.
We may collect the unique device id number of the mobile or other device which you use to access the Site including your IP address and other meta data.

REFERRALS
The Services may allow you to invite your friends to sign up for the Services by sharing, a referral link via a social networking site, email or other means. If you choose to upload your contacts to the Service, we will receive and store those contacts’ information and use it to send invitations on your behalf when you choose to do so. When you refer someone via our Services, your referral may include your name, contact information, and, if shared with us, your photo.
